Technological Research on USB-HOST in Embedded System Based on ISP1161

Abstract

This paper introduces the topology and software structure of USB (Universal Serial Bus) Specification, brings in the ISP1161, a single-chip Universal Serial Bus (USB) Host Controller which complies with Universal Serial Bus Specification and can be well used in embedded systems and portable devices, analyzes the hardware structure of ISP1161and the status of register to realize USB Specification in emphasis, and shows the software flow chart to realize USB HOST in embedded systems using ISP1161, at last gives a example of a embedded system for using this USB HOST module.
