Abstract
The traditional rural cultural landscape is the wisdom of transforming and adapting the nature for a long term,which is the harmonious development result of man and land.The research advances on the traditional rural cultural landscape in China were discussed from five aspects of the classification of rural cultural landscape,the composition of the rural cultural landscape,rural settlement cultural landscape,and specific type of rural cultural landscape,cultural landscape protection and planning.
