Abstract

Aiming at the medium and small die-casting dies CAD system characteristic,combining with the merit of file management system and database system,a method of managing database on CAD system is proposed—database file interface method.A interface program of database file has been compiled by C code.The data transmission and sharing between database and CAD system has been realized under Pro/E. The practice application indicates that this method is effective and feasible.
