Clinical research on the effect of Shenglu Runzao decoction on treating Sjgren's syndrome

Objective To investigate the clinical effects and feasibility of Shenglu Runzao decoction for the treatment of Sjgren's syndrome. Methods Sixty patients suffering from Sjgren's syndrome were divided into two groups randomly. Thirty patients were treated with Shenglu Runzao decoction (experimental group). Thirty patients were treated with hydroxychloroquine (control group). The clinical symptoms,signs and the laboratory data were collected before and after treatment. Results The total effective rate with experimental group was significantly higher than that of control group (P 0.01). In improving the main symptoms,signs and indications of Traditional Chinese Medicine,the experimental group was obviously superior to that of control group (P 0.01). Conclusion In the treatment of Sjgren's syndrome,Shenglu Runzao Tang has remarkable curative effect and important value of clinical applications.
