Abstract
Some important ways can't be ignored when one engages in the research of Manchu women's his-tory. First, pay attention to collecting and studying the original literature, especially to the Manchu historical materi-dals; Secondly, focus on the relevant social system, especially the system of Eight Banners in the Qing Dynasty;Third, understanding the relevant theory and studing Manchu women are necessary for mastering gender theory.
