Abstract
Among the great contribution of Chinese nation to the world,Chinese character is the most outstanding.Chinese character is the fingerprint and benchmark of Chinese culture,which can present the characters of Chinese culture.Starting with the origination of Chinese character,this paper discusses the composition of Chinese character,its function to culture transmission,especially its transmission function to the whole world.
