Chivalrous Spirit in Analects of Confucius

Abstract

Chivalrous spirit is an important part in Chinese traditional culture,as well as key to the formation of Chinese national spiritual characters.Chivalrous spirit is much like the supplement and expansion of Confucian thoughts and its practice in the masses.It is influenced a lot by Confucian spirit.In Analects of Confucius,chivalrous spirit is presented in faithfulness,boldness and freedom of personality.This paper analyzes the chivalrous spirit embodied in Analects of Confucius from its text.
