The paper discussed the international trend of the equipment manufacturing industry development and the problems faced by the equipment manufacturing industry in Liaoning province.Using the successful experience of the revitalization of the equipment manufacturing industry in developed industrial countries for reference,combining the historical development of Liaoning province and actual situation,and adopting analytical methods which combine the empirical analysis and the normative analysis,it put forward effective ways of cultivating the equipment manufacturing industrial clusters in Liaoning province so as to reach the international standards.
