Abstract

In order to select high efficient and low toxicity acaricides for controlling maize spider mite, the field control effects of 8 acarcides on maize spider mite were tested. The results showed that all the treatments had different levels of efficiency.18g/L abamectin(EC),21% abamectin clofentenzine(WP),10%pyridaben(EC),240g/L spirotetramat(SC)and 5% fenpyroximate(SC)achieved favorable quick-acting.Efficacy reached 91.13%,88.68%,87.99%,84.09% and 82.63% at 3 days,respectively.20% clofentenzine(SC),240g/L spirotetramat(SC),5% hexythiazox(WP),240g/L dpirodiclofen(SC),21% abamectin clofentenzine(WP)achieved favorable persistent effects.Efficacy reached 80.91%,79.44%,79.34%,75.95% and 74.68% at 20 days,respectively.240g/L spirodiclofen(SC)and 21% abamectin clofentenzine(WP)had obvious persist and speed insecticidal efficacy,it should be the best acaricide to control maize spider mite. The eight acarcides were safety to maize, and had significant effect and no chemical injury.
