Abstract
Based on Java's advantages of object-oriented, network-oriented and platform independence, Java provided convenience to the development of distributed applications. RMI, EJB and Jini, these three outstanding technologies, are deeply investigated. At last, the ranges of application, similarities and differences between RMI and EJB, as well as that between EJB and Jini were investigated.
