Application of automatic backup of OPTO22 control system in water level control of boilers

Abstract

In order to perform the function of automatic backup of OPTO22 control system, a series of problems, including the linking between the main and backup controller, transportation of data, check up of controller failure, and automatic switchover between the main and backup controller, need resolving. This article discusses these problems in detail and gives the solution applied to water level control of boilers.
