Abstract
A field experiment was conducted to study the different effects of special compound fertilizer. pure chemical fertilizer and pure organic fertilizer on growth, yield and quality of cucumber in greenhouse. The result showed that the optimal level of special compound fertilizer applied on cucumber in greenhouse was 270 kg·hm-2. It could greatly improve the cucumber plants' growth. the effect of increasing yield was similar to that of pure chemical fertilizer or pure organic fertilizer. However. compared with the effect of pure chemical fertilizer, using special compound fertilizer could greatly improve the cucumber's quality, and the VC content was improved by 129.86%,the NO3--N content is lowered by 134.38%.
