More on Comparison of Difference between Chinese Wushu and Western Sports From the Perspective of Spiritual and Cultural

The development of Chinese wushu modernization is not open around this powerful Western culture, namely, Western sports. By emulating the mode of Western sports, Chinese wushu does provide space for its survival, but also exacerbated the decline of traditional wushu. Faced with historical trends of reference, transcendence, and fusion between Chinese wushu and Western sports, engages in extensive reading of references, experts interviews, comparative analysis and other research methods, select the spiritual and cultural perspective as an entry point, with comparing the differences between Chinese wushu and Western sports as the object of the research. Studies suggested that Chinese wushu competition entertain themselves, while Western sports competition entertain others; Chinese wushu flexible introversion, Western sports rigid extroversion; Chinese wushu consistent balance, Western sports progressive integration; Chinese wushu of heavy emotion, Western sports skills of heavy rationality. Then compare the insulation between Chinese wushu and Western sports from the spiritual perspective, aimed at overcoming the phenomenon of blasphemy with the development of Chinese wushu, and eliminating the path of development which assimilates Chinese wushu on the cultural mode of Western sports.
