Abstract

[Objective] The aim was to study the heterosis of tropical zone maize germplasm, and discuss their using value and using method in high latitude of the temperate zone.[Method] 5 brazil inbred lines and 4 domestic inbred lines(Huangzao4,Dan340,Mo17 and B73) were used as materials to analyze heterosis by complete inbred lines.[Result] The results showed that the heterosis of single plant yield was obvious, and the heterosis of brazil inbred lines obtained by tropical zone maize×temperature zone maize was higher than those of the other groups.
