Chang An in Wang Wei's Poetry

Literary figures in imperial China often had distinct personalities which were ineluctably agglomerated by the particular time and space framework which they enlisted in.In time they constituted a reciprocal relationship with their historically confined cultural geography.Using Wang Wei as a case study and starting with analyzing Wang Wei's poetry about Chang An,this paper attempts to investigate the city,the human sentiments,the customs and the life of the writer,and based on it,this paper strives to demonstrate the attraction of literary Chang An written by Wang Wei.
