Abstract
The family sports consumption composition of urban inhabitant in Beijing Haidian district was studied. The conclusion are as follows: The family average sports consumption is 1660 yuan each year, in which the consumption of sports practicality accounts for 47.75% of the total sports consumption, the sports service consumption accounts for 30.35% and the sports information consumption accounts for 19.61%. The total sports consumption of the families does not highly relate to the total income of the families. The increment of the family sports consumption expenditure was lower than that of the family income. The most favorite sports events of the urban inhabitants in Haidian district are table tennis, dance, tour, ice-skating, football, badminton etc, successively. But the expenditure on those sports events does not occupy an important place in the sports consumption.
