The Diversity Protection and Landscape Application of Wild Woody Plants in Henan Province

According to the statistical analysis of families, genera and species, this paper summarizes the diversity and features of woody flora in Henan Province, and probes some measures for the biodiversity protection:(1) Reinforce to construct natural conservation district, and carry on protection and study of wild woody plants resources.(2) Follow eco-economic principle to layout regionalization. (3) Exploit and utilize the wild trees resources properly.(4) Further develop introduction and domestication to enrich trees resources. (5) pay attention to excavating and using fine native trees, giving full play to potential of wild trees. On the basis of the study, the reference directory about street trees, landscape trees, foliage trees, flower trees, ornamental fruit trees, woody climbing trees and plant communities is provided.
