Abstract
Objectives To study the role plasma levels of gastrointestinal hormones in the mechanism of function dyspepsia. Methods 20 cases in control group and 32 cases with function dyspepsia of dyskinetix type(FD group) were studied plasma lovels of Motilin(MTL),Cholecystokinin(CCK),Vasoactive Intestional Peptide(VIP) and Somatostitin(SS) were measured with radionimmumoassay. Results The preprandial and postpreprandial MTL levels were both lower in FD group(P0.001).VIP levels were both higher in FD group than that in controls (P0.001).No significant difference was found SS between FD and controle (P0.05).The preprandial CCK were significantly difference in two group (P0.05) decreased in FD group (P0.001).Conclusions while levels of postprandial CCK were significantly the decreased MTL,CCK,levels and increased VIP may play important roles in the pathogensis FD.
