Abstract
The new hydrochloric acid production unit stated in this paper is a single set of equipment with capacity of 30000 t/a,which was designed by Qingdao Haijing Chemical(group)Co.,Ltd.In the new process,the ratio of chlorine and hydrogen is automatically controlled and the reaction is occurred in a two-in-one (combination of synthesis and cooling)graphite furnace under positive pressure.To meet the need of both hydrochloric acid production and hydrogen chloride gas supply for other products,the cooler area is enlarged and a falling-film absorber is cancelled.As a new leap of hydrochloric acid production technology in the company,great improvement was made in process,equipment and civil engineering,especially in unit automation.And also,it improved the quality and quantity of product and security of production.
