Abstract

Indicators of land quality (LQIs)are applied to assess sustainable land management in Quzhou county,North China Plain The result shows that:the improvement of salt-affected soil has been made great progress,soil fertility has been increasing,the land quality has been improving as a whole,and agricultural production has been increasing stably;However,soil pollution and loss of agro-biodiversity have not been serious to sustainable land management at present,but they will threaten the sustainability of agricultural land use system if people do not change the present situation
