Synthesis of perylene diimide derivative with potentially electroluminescent performance and fabrication of its film with electrochemical deposition method

Abstract
Perylene Diimide Derivative with potentially electroluminescent performance,N,N'-bis-iso-octyl-1,7-di( 4-t-butylphenoxy)-perylene-3,4,9,10-tertracarboxylic acid diimide,are synthesized from 3,4,9,10-perylenetraboxylic dianhydride. The structures are characterized by FT-IR and H1 NMR. It is proved that PITD has electroluminescent property by characteriation of UV-Vis and fluorescence spectrum of solution and film of PITD. Then Perylene Diimide Derivative is made for electrodeposition films after adding hydrazine hydrate. The optical properties of them are investigated by UV-Vis. On the basis of the solvent,the films are made on ITO films by electrodeposition and characterized by UV-Vis,XRD and SEM.
