Abstract

When preparing sample solution through alkali fusion method,in hydrochloride(6 mol/L) medium, toluene and nbutyl acetate(6+4) are used to extract gallium chloride acid complex anion while rhodamine B is taking color, and the trace gallium can be determined at the maximum absorption λ max =560 nm.This method is accurate and selective.Beer's law is followed in the range of 0~10 ug/mL for gallium sesquioxide. The linear regression equation is A = 0.655c-0.009 3,with correlation coefficient 0.999 5,molar absorptive 1.19 ×10 5 L·mol-1·cm-1 the average recovery 98.6%~100.4%.
