Empirical Study of Impacts of China's Producer Service Industry on Manufacturing Industry Upgrading Based on Value Chain

Abstract

Based on the national and regional panel data in China from 2004 to 2010,the article made a bibliometric analysis of both producer service industry and manufacturing industry's added value and studied the impacts of producer service industry on manufacturing upgrading and the different impacts in the eastern,central and western regions.The results showed that producer service industry had positive impacts on manufacturing upgrading nationwide and regionally,but various producer services had different impacts.
