The Retrospect and Prospect of Contest Mechanism Design

Contest is a typical phenomenon in the social,political and economic affairs,playing an important role in the incentive and the resources allocation,contest mechanism design has been become a hot topic in contest research.After introducing the fundamental knowledge of contest,this article gives a review of the research on contest mechanism design from the angles contest awards,contest structure and contest success function.On the basis of previous studies,this paper also discusses the contest mechanism design for possible research direction.
