Abstract

The crystal structures and ionic conductivity of yttria stabilized zirconia(YSZ) are analyzed.Out of the type of transition of oxygen vacancies in YSZ,the reason that the conductivity of YSZ emerges a maximum as dopant increases are discussed. The activating energy of oxygen ion reduces and the probability of transition increases ,and the conductivity increase also progressively with the increase of temperature.
