Abstract

Field plot trials were carried out to study the effects of different fertigation methods on banana growth and yield.Totally,five irrigation methods,named as traditional flooding(CK),percolated tape irrigation,drip tape irrigation,micro-sprinkler irrigation and drip irrigation,were selected.The results showed that drip method and microsprinkler irrigation saved more than 73% and 69% water compared to CK throughout whole growing period,however,increased yield by 15.6% and 5.6%.
