Abstract
Objective: To observe the curative effect of Interferon alpha(IFN-α) combined with 5-FU on apoptosis of Liver cancer cells by the establishment of animal model. Methods: The rats were randomly divided into the blank control group, model group,5-FU group,5-FU group of alpha interferon.A model of hepatocellular carcinoma was established by injecting subcultured ascites into rat liver. The rats in 5-FU group of interferon alpha had subcutaneous IFN-αinjection of 3×105 U/d,those in 5-FU group had abdominal injection of 30 mg/kg and those in the blank control and model group had same dose abdominal injection of physiological saline. After 35 days of successive injection, from these rats the blood and liver were taken to observe carcinoma growth state, and the expression of serum CyclinD1 and NF-κB.Results: Compared with that in the blank control group, the tumor growth rate increased significantly and the expression of serum CyclinD1 and NF-κB went up in model group.Compared with that in the model group, tumor growth rate was significantly lowered and the expression of serum CyclinD1 and NF-κB dropped in 5-FU group and 5-FU group of alpha interferon.Compared with that in 5-FU group, tumor growth was significantly slower and the expression of serum CyclinD1 and NF-KB was even lower in 5-FU group of alpha interferon. Conclusion: Compared with anticancer drugs singly administered,Combined administration of IFN-αand 5-FU can effectively lower the tumor growth rate and Cyclin1and KF-KB expression in rats with liver cancer.
