Abstract
Zhu Ziqing's comprehensive and profound knowledge lies mainly in his study of Chinese poetical theory.He explored deeply the basic way of classical poetics and put forward that: the expression of ideal through poetry was the basic principle of Chinese poetics;landscape in the eyes of scholars was a realm of imagination;the mild poetical doctrine was the traditional standard of poetics;the Han-styled balladic spirit was the developmental mainstream of Chinese poetry.His poetical theory gives us much inspiration and thus,deserves our deep study.
