Analysis on Allergens of Summer-autumn Allergic Rhinitis and Asthma in Urban Area of Hohhot

Abstract

[Objective]To analyze the inhalant allergens of patients with summer-autumn allergic rhinitis and asthma in Hohhot area,carry out the disease prevention and control according to causes of diseases. [Methods]60 patients who diagnosed as allergic rhinitis or allergic rhinitis complicated with asthma were tested for inhalant allergens,including detection of total IgE(tIgE) and specific IgE(sIgE) in serum,and intracutaneous test. [Results]The top three positive rates of inhalant allergens in allergic rhinitis were artemisia pollen(78.3%),pollen in summer and autumn(50.0%),dust mite(31.7%).The top three positive rates of inhalant allergens in allergic rhinitis complicated with asthma were artemisia pollen(78.3%),pollen in summer and autumn(65.2%),dust mite(52.2%).There was no significant difference in the positive rate among three groups(P0.05). [Conclusion]The main inhalant allergens in summer and autumn were artemisia pollen,summer-autumn pollen and dust mite in Hohhot area.The detection of allergens plays an important role in disease prevention and control.
