Abstract
Objective:To investigate clinical therapy and efficacy for pregnant women with the third trimester oligohydramnios. Methods:A retrospective analysis was made on clinical data of 156 pregnant women with the third trimester oligohydramnios from Jan.2005 to Jan.2010 and 156 controls with normal amniotic fluid volume(AFI 8-18 cm). Results:The cases of that were chosen cesarean section, fetal distress, and meconium-stained amniotic fluid in oligohydramnios group were significantly more than that in control group, but the incidences of the neonatal asphyxia and mortality rate of newborn had no significant differences between two groups. Conclusion:Oligohydramnios cause adverse perinatal outcome of pregnancies.Meticulous surveillance of the pregnancy and increased intervention follows the finding of oligohydramnios can decrease the rate of adverse perinatal outcomes.
