On the Obstacles and Improvements in English listening comprehension

Abstract

The biggest problem that most Chinese students meet with in English study is listening comprehension.However,English is a course requiring much practice and stress on the students' ability to use the language.Good listening is essential to successful communication.This paper discusses three obstacles to English listening,namely,the obstacles of psychology,information and comprehension.To get rid of them,this paper also suggests some counter measures.
