Abstract

[Objective]By analyzing the sources,morphology,migration and distribution of mercury pollution in three environmental media(atmosphere,soil and water),and combined with the status of excessive mercury in different media and its effect on health of population in contaminated areas,this paper reviews the present situation of mercury pollution and its health hazards in China.
