The biology function of survivin on malignant tumor

Abstract
Survivin is a kind of multi-effect protein which could inhibit apoptosis,control cell division and promote angiogenesis.Its selective expression is often found in malignant cancer,so there have been lots of researches on survivin as a new tumor marker or its potentiality of targeted therapy these years.This review summarizes the research progress on survivin as tumor marker.
