Analysis of Jean-Jacques Rousseau's freedom outlook

Abstract
As one of the most controversial thinkers, Rousseau's freedom thoughts embodied his thoughts of politics, education, religion and literature. Rousseau's freedom outlook is greatly different from classical and modern liberalism. The author of this paper analyses the connotation of Rousseau's freedom outlook, namely, natural freedom, social freedom and moral freedom. Meanwhile, the author points out that we can have a better understanding of Rousseau and his important position in modern ideology and culture only by grasping his freedom outlook.
