The Cultural Social Function of the Maguai Dance of Chuang and Resources Development in Red River Basin

Abstract

Maguai Dance is an important component of Chuang culture in the Red River basin.It has a glorious history and vivid characteristics.It is one typical representation of Chuang culture.From the sports culture angle,Maguai Dance not only has the values of body-building,entertainment and artistic esthetic,but also has social functions to inherit national culture,enhance national cohesion,promote economic level,further nationality sports culture development and so on.This article reveals the cultural social function of Maguai Dance and explores its development and utilization as cultural resources.
