Abstract

In this paper,solid-phase extraction—RP-HPLC was applied for the detection of clenbuterol residue in pork and both the pre-treatment method and chromatographic conditions were optimized. For the pre-treatment of the meat samples, the best ultrasonic extraction time and elution speed of the extracts on solid phase were 30 minutes and 2d/s,respectively.Then the purified extracts was analyzed by RP-HPLC on a ODS C-18 column(4.6μm×l50 mm)using 0.01mol/L of solium dihydrogen phosphate solution-methanol(65∶35)as mobile phase at a flow rate of 1mL/min and a UV detector at 243nm.This method for clenbuterol residue detection in pork had high accuracy, residual recovery, and good reproducibility.
