Abstract
Purpose To investigate the curative effect of acupuncture and moxibustion on chronic fatigue syndrome.Methods TCM concept of wholism was used for syndrome differentiation-based treatment main points selected were Baihui, Zusanli, Sanyinjiao and Guanyuan. Thirty-nine patients with chronic fatigue syndrome were treated.Results Results Clinical cure accounted for 20.5%, marked effectiveness 54.6%, effectiveness 12.8% and ineffectiveness 10.3%, with a total efficacy rate of 89.7%.Conclusion Acupuncture-moxibustion is an effective method for treating chronic fatigue syndrome.
