Clinical observation of hemodialysis patients with end stage diabetic nephropathy

Objective To observe the clinical effect of hemodialysis in patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy(ESDN). Methods 30 patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy treated in our hospital from 2011 June to were selected as the object of this study. According to the results of treatment, they were divided into ESDN group and ESDN survival group,compared with two groups of urea nitrogen(BUN) and creatinine(CR). Results In this group of patients, 6 patients died within a year. 12 patients died within two years, that is, 18 patients died of infectious complications, 8 patients died of heart failure, 3 cases died of cerebral hemorrhage in 7 patients. From the two groups of urea nitrogen(BUN), creatinine(CR), the ESDN level of the BUN survival group was lower, but the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05), while the CR level was higher, and the difference was significant(P0.05). Conclusion prompt and effective hemodialysis treatment for the patients with end-stage diabetic nephropathy has important significance, but in the process of hemodialysis treatment should be closely observed the changes of the indicators, to ensure that patients in the best condition to receive treatment,reduce the incidence of death.
