Abstract

An overview of recent development of technology of accelerating dynamic Web page is provided. First, active cache runs the applets provided by Web server on proxy server, and returns the result to client without connecting to Web server. Second, Web server accelerator is placed in the front or inner of Web server to accelerate the server access. In the end, Edge Side Includes, which is a simple markup language, defines Web page components for dynamic assembly and delivery of Web applications at the edge of Internet.
