Power Communication Network in Strong and Smart Grid

Abstract

This paper analyses and studies the communication requirements of China smart grid including the power generation,transmission,transformation,distribution,consumption and dispatching.It discusses the current situation of power communication network in China,proposes the structure of the future optical fiber backbone communication network,power communication network and the user side access network in smart grid.The role that communication technologies play in future smart grid is also introduced in the paper.
