Abstract
The function of biosurfactant which was produced by Pseudomonas aeruginosa S6 in biodegradation process of anthracene was studied. The results showed that the biodegradation was enhanced by biosurfactant of 60mg·l-1 when it was added 1 day before and at the same time with inoculum of degrading strain A10,and the degradation rate increased by 16.50% and 18.03% compared with control, respectively.Excessive biosurfactant could inhibit biodegradation of anthracene to some extent. The analysis of degradation process of anthracene exhibited that addition of biosurfactant ahead of degrading strain could promote anthracene degradation evidently and keep preferable effect.Biosurfactant could be utilized by strain, suggesting its bioavailability, thus it is an environmentally friendly biological reagent.
