Abstract
Objective To study the correlation between Ulinastatin and serum levels of TNF-α,IL-8 and IL-10 in patients with acute wounds. Methods 46 patients with acute wounds were randomly divided into two groups.Patients in A group was treated with conventional anti-inflammatory treatment, while patients in group B was treated with Ulinastatin on the basis of the conventional treatment.Peripheral blood were collected before treatment and after treatment on the one, three and five day.Serum levels of TNF-α,IL-8 and IL-10 were determined by ELISA.20 healthy persons served as control. Results Serum level TNF-α and IL-8 in A and B two groups of patients were significantly higher than group C(P 0.05).Serum level of TNF-α and IL-8 level before treatment in A and B groups were not significantly(P 0.05).Serum level of TNF-α and IL-8 in group B on day three and five were lower than in group A(P 0.05),and serum level of IL-10 in the group B were higher than group A(P 0.05).Conclusion Ulinastatin can inhibit release of TNF-α、IL-8 on serum in trauma patients, and promote release of anti-inflammatory cytokine IL-10,can effectively reduce inflammatory response of the trauma patients.
