Abstract

Through comprehensive analysis of lots of rock core, well logs, and seismic data, and combining the knowledge of reservoir geology, logging geology and seismic sequence, the reservoir anisotropism can be resolved effectively. Based on the analysis of single well microfacies, the reservoir character in the lower section of Minghuazhen formation has been studied. The results indicate that the Minghuazhen formation develops meandering river sedimentary system, which can be subdivided into six types of sedimentary microfacies-river channel, marginal bank, abandoned channel, natural barrier, crevasse channel and floodplain. And further, the reservoir sedimentary character of Ming formation has been revealed through different member of sedimentary microfacies plan, and the favorable facies zone has been located by means of discussion of the sedimentary microfacies control on the reservoir property.
