Abstract
Yongyou 6 is a high yield and high quality hybrid rice developed by Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ningbo City of Zhejiang Province and Ningbo City Seed Company.It was approved and released by Fujian Crop Variety Approval Committee in 2007.In this paper,in order to explore the fit cultural techniques,the yield and yield components characteristics of Yongyou 6 and Boyou 253(CK) were studied.The result showed that the growth duration of Yongyou 6 was 127-131 days,effective panicles were about 0.82-1.16 million per ha.,mean grains per panicle were 310-377,seed setting rate was above 84%-87%,and 1000-grain weight was 24.3-24.8 g.Compared with Boyou 253,Yongyou 6 had a significant increase in the average yield(8.59 t·hm-2),rose by 23.6%.Moreover,the high-yielding and high-resulting cultural techniques were promoted.
