Abstract
Objective:To explore the nursing interventions for elderly patients in the prevention of phlebitis caused by intravenous catheter use. Methods:The use of intravenous catheter in elderly patients randomly divided into experimental group and control group, observed two kinds of nursing interventions and the relationship between phlebitis. Results:The care of phlebitis in the experimental group was lower than the conventional group (P0.05),catheter retention time longer than the conventional group (P0.05),were statistically significant. Conclusion:The use of intravenous catheter in elderly patients with nursing interventions to reduce catheter the incidence of phlebitis caused by the extension catheter retention time,Enable patients to better meet the care operation, improve patient comfort and satisfaction, reduce nursing dispute.
