Abstract
The errors that affect the target acquisition probability of an anti-ship missile involve target location error, fire preparing error, and the scattering error from the missile self-control terminal. The characteristics of the errors were analyzed and the equivalent calculation formula according to the target located in bearing-crossing were given. Then according to the characteristics of detection and movement of the missile, the acquisition zone of the missile seeker to the target was investigated for the calculation of the zone boundary.Based on these work,a novel algorithm was provided for calculating the acquisition probability of the missile seeker. The validity of the algorithm was verified by simulations.
