Abstract
New village construction of China needs not only advanced experience of foreign countries but also the experience of new village construction in the south of Changjiang River. Yangshanfan village is an ordinary village which changed from a village lagged behind to a new modern one. Its successful experiences lie in government leaders’ emphasis, right policies, strong implementation, coordinated action, town and village’s cooperation, villager’s efforts, scientific planning, emphasis on construction of infrastructure facilities and development characteristic industry according to actual environment. At the end, this paper put forward some conclusive ideas for new village construction.
