Sedimentary microfacies of Putaohua oil-bearing layer, Haituozi area, Songliao Basin

Based on comprehensive application of core, logging, seismic and grain size analysis data, this paper has clarified the sedimentary microfacies of sandstone of Putaohua oil-bearing layer in Haituozi area, Songliao Basin. The strata of Putaohua oil-bearing Layer is thinning out gradually in west part of studied area. River, delta and lacustrine facies are developed in deposited area from west to east. The area riched river sandstone near the strata pinch out line probably forming stratigraphic trap, which is the favorable position of pool formation of Putaohua oil-bearing layer in studied area.
