Both China and Japan belong to the culture circle of Chinese character.Chinese character,originated from China,was carried from China to Japan as written words and used to write down the Japanese history,which produced very important effect on Japanese culture.Chinese character has been used in the two countries but the associated meanings of the Chinese character differ from that in Japanese.Both languages have different preferred-words and four-word idioms.
