The primary goal of this paper is to describes the Nan Tang’s background: Under the rich economy, there are a lots of banquets in Nantang Dynasty, especially in palace; Nan Tang inherits culture about music and dance from Tang Dynasty, and accepts many geishas from the Tang Dynasty palace, who have brought the superb skills of dance and music into Nantang; Taking to making merry in time is the psychology of Nan Tang’s Aristocracies . These factors make Nantang’s culture about banquet develop and thrive.
